Frequently asked questions

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Within 24 hours, a one-day rental fee may apply. Cancellations after the driver has been dispatched are charged in full.

Who is responsible for fuel and tolls?

All quoted prices include fuel and driver. Highway tolls and parking on intercity trips are typically included; unusual costs (e.g. ferry crossings) are discussed in advance.

Can I take the car outside Cairo?

Yes — intercity travel is included at no extra charge. The driver stays with the vehicle for the full rental and handles all navigation and parking.

1. The service

CarRental provides chauffeur-driven car rental in Egypt. Every car includes a professional driver, and the rate includes fuel unless stated otherwise.

2. Booking and cancellation

• Bookings are confirmed through the website or WhatsApp
• Bookings are confirmed with a flight ticket
• You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your arrival
• No-shows at the agreed time are treated as cancellations and any prepaid amount is non-refundable

3. Prices and payment

• All prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise
• The daily rate includes the driver and fuel
• Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, InstaPay, and all major e-wallets
• Prices may change without prior notice — the price confirmed at the time of booking is binding

4. Customer responsibilities

• Sticking to the agreed timings
• Notifying us immediately of any issue or feedback
• Providing accurate information when booking

5. Our responsibilities

• Providing a clean, air-conditioned car in excellent condition
• A professional driver who keeps to the schedule
• Providing an immediate replacement in the rare event of a breakdown
• Replying to your enquiries within minutes on WhatsApp

6. Limits of liability

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control (such as heavy traffic, road accidents, or weather conditions). In every case we make our best effort to deliver the best possible service.

7. Intellectual property

All content on rentacaregypt.com (text, images, design) is owned by CarRental and may not be copied or used without prior permission.

8. Changes

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on the website.
