It is about 730 km: the desert road from Cairo towards Alexandria, the North Coast road to Marsa Matrouh (about 460 km), then the Matrouh to Siwa road south through the desert (about 300 km).
The driving alone takes about 8 hours; with breaks the trip is roughly 9 to 10 hours, so leave early in the morning.
You can split the road over two days: a night in Marsa Matrouh, then on to Siwa the next day.
